Klara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, where she is currently completing her PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Klara has extensive experience providing therapy to couples and adults to help them improve their relationships, form secure connections, process emotions, and foster discovery and healing. She is passionate about helping couples and adults interact in more positive ways using Emotionally Focused Therapy. She creates safe, nurturing environments for all of her clients to explore their relationships and patterns developed in their family of origin. She has a special interest in working with dating and premarital couples and adults as they establish solid foundations and secure interactions. She also works with individuals wanting support with life transitions, loss, and work/life balance. Klara loves to teach and has run multiple mental health groups at MHS North Inland Mental Health Center and teaches Master of Arts Degree students at Alliant International University and Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In her free time her hobbies include paddle boarding, camping, meditation, writing and illustrating children's books. She appreciates spending quality time with family, especially her fiancé Mark and her niece and nephew.
