Integrative Family Therapy, a relational family therapy practice based in Encinitas, California, is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have four or more years post-licensure therapy experience and one year or more of supervisory experience. Candidates must meet supervisor requirements as set forth by the BBS. We are looking for therapists that are confident supervising and have extensive experience providing therapy in the following areas: Children, Teens, Couples, Parents, Families, Trauma, and Attachment Theory. Candidates are expected to be skilled and competent in legal/ethical considerations, documentation, treatment planning, complex cases, and navigating crisis and cases involving SI, HI, DTS/DTO, NSSI, mandated reporting.
Preferred candidate will be independent, driven, professional, collaborative, have a thirst for growth and mentorship, and enhance our culture. Candidate can expect to supervise up to three associate marriage and family therapist, carry a caseload of 10 or clients per week, and run a weekly consultation group for all therapists including LMFTs.
This is the perfect position for a therapist that wants to work in a boutique practice, while mentoring other therapists, without having to run their own business. The position will begin part time with a goal of moving to full time within three months.

- Current State of California license as an LMFT
- Masters Degree
- Meet supervision requires per BBS, https://www.bbs.ca.gov/pdf/forms/mft/mft_supervisor_information.pdf
- Supervisory experience
- Able to provide counseling to 8 or more clients a week
- Supervise up to 3 AMFTS a week
- Willing to work one or more evening per week
- Comfortable with telehealth
- Able to have caseload developed over a 3 month period
- Strong experience working with children, teens, couples, families, and trauma
Preferred Requirements:
- Training in Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and/or Interpersonal Neurobiology
- Supervisory experience
- AAMFT approved or CAMFT approved supervisor
- Experience with Simple Practice
