Klara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, where she is currently completing her PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Klara has extensive experience providing therapy to couples and adults to help them create secure relationships, process emotions, heal trauma, and foster discovery and growth. She is passionate about helping couples and adults interact with authenticity and security drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory. She creates safe, nurturing environments for all of her clients to explore their relationships and patterns developed in their family of origin and previous relationships. She has a special interest in working with individual adults and dating couples as they explore how to create thriving relationships and personal growth. She also works with individuals wanting support with life transitions, loss, and work/life balance. Klara loves to teach and has run multiple mental health groups at MHS North Inland Mental Health Center and teaches Couple and Family therapy to graduate students at Alliant International University and Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In her free time her hobbies include paddle boarding, camping, meditation, writing, and illustrating children's books. She appreciates spending quality time with family, especially her husband Mark and her niece and nephew. Klara has completed the EFT Externship.
