our vision and mission

At Integrative Family Therapy, we believe in creating an atmosphere that inspires connection and wellbeing for our clients and employees. Our mission is to help members of our communities connect with the people and aspects of life that are important to them, and to thrive, personally and in their relationships and families. Our vision is to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness of, appreciation for, and acceptance of couple and family therapy and integrative mental health. We aim to be an optimistic, dynamic, and collaborative team who values working together by strengthening the relationships, families, and mental health of our communities

Our Values

strong Relationships

Cultivating strong, meaningful relationships is a basic need for all of us. We value building relationships as a team, and within our families, and help our clients do the same. It’s the essence of our practice to promote strong, lasting bonds within our practice and to work collaboratively both in the office, virtually, and out in the community.

Strengthening Our Community

Part of our mission is to contribute to our community and provide multiple avenues for individuals, couples and families to connect and grow. It is our goal to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health and couple and family therapy by bringing therapeutic services out of the therapy office and into the community. We provide presentations and educational services at schools, groups, non-profit organizations, and businesses. In addition we offer groups and workshops for clients, community members and therapists.

Serious Self-Care

We take care of Client Zero: Ourselves. The work we do as therapists is vital. We know that we cannot be there for others if we are not compassionate and nurturing toward ourselves. Our team is dedicated to our own growth and wellbeing and engage in committed actions that demonstrate this on a daily basis. In addition we engage in ongoing consultation, professional training and self-of-the-therapist discovery.

Grounded & Authentic

We practice what we teach. We aim to embody compassion, curiosity, empathy, kindness and unconditional positive regard of ourselves and others. At the same time, we are humble, see mistakes as learning opportunities, and bring authenticity to our work.

A Professional container

Although we are out of the box thinkers, and bring a holistic approach to growth and change, we understand that boundaries, structure, and clear expectations create the container for psychological safety and harmony. We hold ourselves to high standards, and the laws and ethics that govern the Marriage and Family Therapy profession, by the California Marriage and Family Therapy Association.
